William IVth Gold Coins Britain
While the world seem to be in the middle of a Gold Rush Silver has been steadily growing in value .
Although Silver has not grown at the same rate as gold it will probably continue growing in value.
One investor tried to corner the market in silver but was eventually thwarted.
William 4th was only King of England for Seven Years so the number of Gold coins minted were fewer.
He introduced a smaller Half-Sovereign in 1834 but this was not popular with the Public or in commerce.
Although Silver Crowns were not struck during the reign of Willam the Fourth, proof or pattern crown silver coins were made but are quite rare.
