Gold Price History question by caldude1010101: Since 2000, the US dollar has fallen 50% against the Euro and the price of gold has quadrupled, what happened?
The trade deficit in 2007 slightly improved ($ 499 billion) over 2006 ($ 528 billion). Of that $ 256 billion was with China and $ 73 billion with Mexico.
Since Bush took office, the US trade deficit has totaled $ 4.3 TRILLION dollars, 3 million manufacturing jobs have been lost, and the value of the greenback has taken a massive hit.
Is free trade really the solution?
