LOL it’s funny when hes trying to describe the UHR. I take it he isn’t into Numismatics. The Deep dish of the coin is whats known as the “field” the raised marking as you call it. Is the “relief”.. Great choice if your considering the hobby.. These are great investments especially long term. Check into soem of the coins history and you’ll see what i mean..

With a mintage approaching 100,000 the UHR coin will never have anything but gold content value. Oh yeah, the tv shopping networks will continue to sell them to suckers but in reality it is worth the gold content. It has very little collector value to anyone in the know unless it is MS70 which in reality should only fetch a 20% over spot premium.

Yeah sorry to disapoint Johnnecron but anyone who sells the “UHR” On gold spot is a moron.. The ultra High Relief will have fantastic collectors value regardless because of the History behind the design. alot Bullion collectors seem to be very unaware of the signifagance as the numismatics comunity undertsands it.. Anyway I love that coin I perosnally own 3 of them and plan to get one more before the year ends, so will the release of that coin.

I bought 50 silver roosevelts at 1/2 cent below spot.
I can buy silver eagles at one dollar over spot.
