Israel Gold and Silver Coins
A Hoard of hundreds of gold coins was found in the car park (no- really !)
in the City of David outside Jerusalem.
This is being catalogued by the Israel Antiquities Authority
A hoard of silver coins was more recentlly discovered onThe Temple Mount

These include 2000 coins from the Jewish Revolt when the second Temple was destroyed.
Modern coins from Israel are mainly commemoratives of History of Israel
and notable Historical events.
